On the vertical Willys sign, Jeep appears inside the large J at the bottom. The horizontal text above the J reads "Cars, Trucks, A. Ray Barker". The original date of this style sign is not clear, but I've seen it on a 1945 brochure:
A. Ray Barker was certainly not shy. His name (and Manager title) can also be seen on the front of the building:
The "Tovrea Equipment Co." lettering is a bit of a mystery, perhaps indicating a farm supply business under the same roof. (Note the tractor on the postcard) The following 1952 letter, courtesy of KaiserFrazerLibrary.com, clearly shows A. Ray Barker Motor Company in bold lettering:
As seen on the letterhead, A. Ray Barker Motor Co. also had an El Paso branch.
