Jeff Jackson from Tennessee is the present owner of a 1947 CJ-2A with quite a bit of family history. For work on the family's Colorado property, his grandfather purchased it new for use by his son Dwain, Jeff's father. The Jeep was an all-around family workhouse for many years. Jeff submitted his father's recollections, paraphrased below:

"The dealership was owned by Merle DeMoss. This Jeep was the demo model. The dealer's daughter may still be alive around Whitewater, Colorado, Rosie and Jimmie Holton."
